Not every free minute between appointments is equally useful for a new task. DoWat's scheduling suggestions allow preparation time before meetings and recovery time afterwards.
What you see in the plan
Buffers occupy time where DoWat does not place more focus tasks. Their size depends partly on the meeting's duration and load. Adjust the amount of buffer you need in Settings.
A buffer is a suggestion, not another obligation. Use it to prepare, take a break, or finish up after the previous appointment.
When there is no room
DoWat cannot create free time between back-to-back meetings. If a gap is too short for both sides, recovery after the previous meeting takes priority.
If the day feels too full, move a task or change an appointment in your calendar. DoWat does not move meetings on its own.
Protect buffers in your calendar
Protect buffers controls whether buffers are included as busy time when you write the day plan. This requires the separate connection for reserving calendar time. The switch alone does not write any events.
